Great Finds: The Best Boards
"Keep your food safe and your kitchen green with these cool new cutting boards... The pros' favorite. This sleek black board from Epicurean looks like ceramic but it is actually made from environment-friendly wood fiber. It's nice to your knives, doesn't need to be oiled, and can be run through the dishwasher."

Wood vs Plastic
"There are two schools of thought when it comes to choosing cutting boards... I'm completely comfortable with both wood and plastic cutting boards. But I have to admit that I'm also sold on the composite board by Epicurean. I don't want to give anything away, but as my bones get older I appreciate the fact that it's lightweight, completely maintenance free, and okay to put in the dishwasher".
